And so I read...
To acknowledge your joy and pain and fatigue and exhiliration
To journey with you through and over and under your words
Swimming in their transparency but seeing also their stark opaqueness
Black font marching, gliding, skipping, dancing
across my white window

And so I think…
On the meanings of your words
Ones to fall into as if they were a well
of emotions to bounce against
as I turn and somersault through my
…reactions

And so I respond…
To words that stir beauty in my own soul
Knowing that you are a kindred spirit
who inspires in me
hopefully untrite descriptions of the feelings
I have in my all too infrequent visits.

And so I read…
So luckily today, your words.
